Hosting BloomDazzle workshops
Thank you for hosting a BloomDazzle workshop! The goal is for everyone to have fun and to create a beautiful BloomDazzle they can proudly display on a tabletop or hang from a wall.
A BloomDazzle is a combination of 3 things: 1) a frame with built-in floral mesh, 2) a curated selection of dried flowers, and 3) a printed canvas with a built-in hole for sticking the flowers into the mesh.
Creating a BloomDazzle requires no skill or instruction and takes 15-45 minutes, depending on whether you choose “Complete-The-Canvas” art that also requires drawing, coloring or painting the canvas before sticking in the flowers.
SETUP INSTRUCTIONS (only ~15 minutes):
- Lay a pink tissue paper at each seat. This acts like a placemat to speed up cleanup of the small flowers.
- Place one frame on each pink paper. The frames come pre-loaded with an art canvas that can be swapped out if desired.
- Place one flower bundle on each pink paper.
- Place one printed instruction page on each pink paper.
- There is a box with extra art canvas options. Lay these out on a table so people can choose whether to swap out the one in their BloomDazzle frame. Please be gentle so leftover art prints can be reused.
- Put the included crayons and colored pencils next to the Complete-The-Canvas options.
HOSTING THE WORKSHOP INSTRUCTIONS:
- Welcome everyone as they arrive and ask them to choose a seat.
- Mention they can use the art already in their frame or swap out the art for any of the canvas options. See the below instructions for swapping out the art canvas prints.
- If they choose a Complete-The-Canvas art print, tell them to take a few crayons, pencils, etc. and to return when done so others can use.
- Mention that Petal+Eon preserved flowers will last 2+ years, and tell them they can find descriptions of the flowers on their instruction page.
- DESIGN TIP: keep the flowers relatively short like in the samples on the instruction page. You can snap all the flowers stems with your fingers.
CHANGING THE ART IN A FRAME:
- Just rotate the plastic dials on back to open and remove the inner contents.
- Remove the old art canvas and place in a new one.
- Be sure to keep all thue Spacers in the correct order: the green mesh needs a frame-shaped cutout insert on each side. This gives space for the flowers to slide in and hold.
- Please be gentle so we can reuse the art canvas prints.
THE FLOWERS:
- BloomDazzles will last over 2 years because all the flowers are preserved REAL flowers, including lavender, star flowers, bunny tails, button flowers, and more.
- The instruction page includes names and descriptions of all flowers.
MAINTENANCE:
- DO NOT water the flowers. They cannot get wet and they do not need sunlight, but direct sunlight is ok.
- Room temperature is best, but the flowers do great anywhere between 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Limited humidity is best - we do NOT recommend you put your flower arrangement in a bathroom.

SHIP BACK LEFTOVER SUPPLIES:
- Put unused art canvas prints back in the white box they came in, then put the white box back in the Return Shipping Box it came in that has a UPS shipping label on it.
- Also put the scissors, crayons, pencils in the Return Shipping Box.
- Give Return Shipping Box to doorman to give to UPS.
CLEANUP INSTRUCTIONS:
- Give unused flower kits to the doorman to give away. No need to ship back.
- Throw away pink paper and leftover flowers.
- Please make sure room is clean when you leave with minimal flower pieces on floor, etc.
Optional: PLEASE TAKE LOTS OF PHOTOS AND VIDEOS:
- Be sure to get verbal approval to post any photos/videos to Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
- Please take photos and videos in BOTH landscape mode AND portrait mode (turn camera 90 degrees).
- Please try to capture some smiling group photos, final product photos with the creator holding it, and some hard-at-work photos (action shots).
